Max Payne 3 has been given a behind-the-scenes trailer.
The debut clip from its Design and Technology Series looks at how Rockstar Games has implemented many of the game's shooting elements.
It looks at targeting mechanics, movement, animation, enemy intelligence and other design innovations.
Max Payne 3 features an intelligent cover system and the return of Bullet Time, along with various online multiplayer modes that dynamically change within each match.
Max Payne 3 will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in March 2012.
